Amanda came to yoga in 2001 after being involved in a serious motorbike accident, she had been suffering from whiplash and other side effects for 2 years. Her first yoga class was an amazing experience and helped ease her injuries, and has been practicing yoga ever since. When she asked about yoga teacher training her teacher suggested she did her ITEC Massage Diploma first which she did and passed, so she then continued onto do her teacher training.
Amanda is authorised to teach through and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She has 500 hours accreditation. She did a 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in 2004 and a 300 hour in 2005 both with Yoga Arts, although it was not until a Yoga teacher training with Sarah Powers in 2006 that Amanda felt ready to teach.

“I wish I was able to do this in person, but I want to thank you. Five years ago when I came to your class yoga made sense to me for the first time. Your teaching changed my life - you have such an incredible gift and I will be forever grateful to you. This has been a humbling experience and I am practicing everything you’ve taught me. Breathing and staying in my body and in the moment. It’s helping me to stay calm and content.”
“Amanda was so generous in what she shared - the depth of her experience and years of practice was evident. Well-thought through”
“Loved Amanda’s teachings - especially her pauses and her humour”
